Privacy Policy
Porcelain does not collect, store, track, or share any of your personal data, repository contents, source code, or credentials.
1. Local Storage & Offline-First
All repository files, Git objects, commit histories, branches, and unified diff calculations remain strictly on your local device. Porcelain does not use any intermediate cloud servers to process or store your files.
2. Keychain Security & Credentials
Personal access tokens and authentication credentials are encrypted and stored exclusively in Apple's on-device Keychain Services (kSecAttrAccessibleAfterFirstUnlockThisDeviceOnly). They are only used to authenticate direct connections with your designated Git remotes.
3. Direct Remote Communication
When you clone, fetch, pull, or push, Porcelain communicates directly with your chosen Git hosting providers (such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or self-hosted servers) over HTTPS. No traffic is routed through third-party proxy servers.
4. No Telemetry or Tracking
Porcelain contains zero analytics SDKs, zero tracking scripts, zero telemetry, and zero advertising frameworks. Your usage habits and project information are completely private.
